This project involved the development/redevelopment of three office buildings with a GFA of approximately 14,000m2 of office space together with the provision of 85 parking spaces in a basement parking area.
We provided traffic engineering design advice for the internal vehicle access arrangements; servicing arrangements and a strategy for the provision of laneways that allowed an increased level of GFA to be developed than would have occurred under the relevant planning controls. The external traffic and pedestrian related effects of the proposal were assessed as were construction related traffic effects. These were summarised in a Traffic Impact Assessment that accompanied the Resource Consent application which was granted on a non-notified basis.
