The Challenge: Our client needed to expand the buildings on his spatially constrained production site to cater for a rapid increase in export orders for his business. The consenting authority had raised a number of traffic and parking related concerns for the proposed expansion so he sought our advice.
Our Approach: We identified site constraints and spatial requirements for key infrastructure. This allowed the development of a spatial overlay that optimised the building footprint while appropriately managing vehicle movement and car parking within the site.
Outcome: Our input and management systems adopted for the expansion gave the consenting authority the confidence to grant consent on a non-notified basis and allowed our clients business to grow and prosper.
